Social Research

Social Researchers

We currently have several placements for experienced social researchers to work with a range of organisations in Africa and Asia, helping people affected by HIV and AIDS, disability or gender inequality. You could be analysing policies, implementing monitoring and evaluation systems or improving the documentation and report writing skills of your colleagues in India, Nigeria, Vietnam or Papua New Guinea.

You'll need a degree in social science or other relevant field and at least 3 years' social research experience. For our current placements experience in advocacy, policy analysis, monitoring and evaluation in the area of gender, HIV and AIDS, disability, education, development economics would be particularly useful. Placements have varying profiles, including document advisor, research for planning advocacy initiatives, researching teacher motivation and social status to support policy development, training other researchers, or institutional development.
